Group Standard for Industrial Robot Dresspack Interfaces Published, Led by TYSEM
In 2024 the group standard Interface Specification for Industrial Robot Dresspacks, led by Hubei Yanhong Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (brand: TYSEM®), was officially published. It is the first unified interface specification in the domestic robotic dresspack field, marking the transition of domestic dresspacks from import substitution to standards output.
Why do this?
For a long time the domestic robotic dresspack market was dominated by imported brands, with incompatible interface specifications between them. When users changed suppliers they faced mismatched interfaces and redesign work. Drawing on 12 years of production-line experience, TYSEM worked with upstream and downstream companies and completed drafting, verification and publication of the standard over 18 months.
What does the standard cover?
- Mechanical interface dimensions and tolerances between dresspack and robot body
- Common specifications for core parts such as conduit, brackets and flanges
- Selection guidance for different working conditions (spot welding, gluing, handling, painting)
- Standard processes for installation acceptance and maintenance
What does it mean for users?
After publication, users can switch freely between brands instead of being locked to a single supplier. At the same time, the unified interface specification substantially reduces the design cycle and cost of custom work.
As the lead author of the standard, TYSEM has adapted all six product series (Series 1 to Series 6) to the new specification, ready for immediate installation.
